Item No: A341
Large and elegant Fish Platter by the Faiencerie de Pornic in Brittany. The handpainted decor is known as Poisson Bleu (Blue Fish) and dates from 1960. The design was probably by Bernard Serraz. Marked to the base with the MBFA Pornic stamp. There is also the impressed logo of the Faiencerie de Niderviller who supplied the unglazed dish. Beautifully coloured and with an unusual shape.
There is a small matching decorative handled dish with similar glaze and design.
