English Art Pottery Jug by William Oram Trivett (Born 1872 Nottingham, died 1955 Midway, Derbyshire).  Trivett was Art Manager at Bretby Art Pottery in South Derbyshire.  

This is a thrown jug glazed in blue and brown with incised decration.

Height: 3.75in (9.5cm). It is reminiscent of Art Nouveau Art Pottery, but with its geometric decor, hints at the Art Deco period.  Probably dating from between 1920 -30.
