Mid-Century Teak Salad Bowl designed by Richard Bent Nissen.  He was a contemporary of Jens Quistgaard who also worked for Nissen, before designing for Dansk and creating many of its iconic products.  The Nissen company was founded in 1890 in Langa, Denmark.  It made a wide range of products in hardwoods.  The company merged with Bodum in 1990.
