Jean Austruy
Born 24 November 1910 in Castres and educated at the Beaux Arts in Montpelier, Jean Austruy had a teaching career and continued his studio work with his wife (also an artist). His work covers decorative, utilitarian and sculpture. He retired in 1990 and had a retrospective exhibition in Saint Marcellin, Isere (near Grenoble) in 2009.
